Spurs weather early storm by Raptors, win 100-113.

After a tough home defense against the Thunder, perhaps the visiting Raptors could've claimed the bones of the weary Spurs, but the home team wasn't ready to surrender.

Great team play netted San Antonio an 18-6 early lead and a 23-30 advantage after the first quarter. But the Raptors went on an 11-0 run in the 2nd as San Antonio began to struggle. The Spurs recovered, trailing only 49-52 at halftime.

The Spurs went on their own 9-0 run to kick off the 3rd, regaining a 12 point lead and trumping Toronto 27-13 in the quarter. Too far behind, the Raptors' play conceded in the fourth quarter. An unusual but welcomed effort came from Tyrus Thomas (16pts/6rebs/2blks), giving him player of the game honors. He even made a 3-PTer as the Spurs ran away with the lead.

Danny Green had 16 points and Tim Duncan had 14 points. For Toronto, Demarr Derozan had 18 points but didn't shoot his best and Terrence Ross cooled off after scoring 15. New addition Demarre Carroll was cold from range, which contributed to the loss.
