Cavaliers defeat Spurs to tie season series, 98-113.

The Cavaliers were on point tonight, led by Iman Shumpert's energetic defense and play on both ends. Cleveland led 28-20 after the first period as Manu Ginobili went cold from distance. Only Tony Parker was hot for SA early, which gave the Cavaliers a 44-52 halftime lead, despite a 9-0 run by the Spurs to keep things interesting.

San Antonio's defense brought them back in the second half, making the score only 77-81 after the 3rd quarter. Danny Green played well, and a 3 by Ginobili took the lead at 82-81.

The 4th quarter would be neck-and-neck, as Tim Duncan blocked LeBron James at the rim. However, the Spurs kept having shooting woes, despite forcing an airball by the 'King' for a shot clock violation at 95-99. The Cavaliers would take over with strong fast break plays, including two crazy dunks by Iman Shumpert (whose defense was responsible for SA's shooting struggle).

The Cavaliers saw Kawhi Leonard (26 points) foul out in the final minute after a frustrating game, possibly due to fatigue after an 11 game win streak. Still a finals preview, the Cavaliers won tonight.

Iman Shumpert had 27 points, as Cavaliers won the 4th quarter, 32-21. Kyrie Irving had 25 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and LeBron James had 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in a friendly triple-double race that neither quite competed. Tony Parker played valiantly in the loss for 26 points and 8 assists, but Danny Green was 5-15/4-11 3PT, Manu was 3-10, Allen was scoreless 0-4, unable to guard Shumpert's hot play and spending time on the bench.
